Gia went on to jump her first Junior Nations Cup in Langley, BC Canada. There she helped team USA win the Nations Cup as well as win the Grand Prix.
In 2018, Gia left her home country to head to Germany for a job opportunity working for Helena Stormanns. There she gained invaluable experience showing world class horses and producing young horses. Gia was successful at shows such as LGCT Monaco, Paris, Rome, and Valkenswaard to name a few. Gia also took wins in two Young Rider Nations Cup appearances. Gia helped team USA clinch gold as well as second place in the Grand Prix in the 2019 Nations Cup Final in Hagen, Germany. She also competed at the Young Rider Nations Cup in Opglabeek, Belgium the same year and went on to win the Grand Prix.
In 2021, Gia got the chance to move back to the US, and quickly moved up the ranks during the WEF circuit placing in numerous 3* and 4* classes on owners’ horses. In less than one year being on her own, Gia won her first 5* Grand Prix at the age of 22 at the prestigious Spruce Meadows. It was a defining moment for Gia as it was the first 5* Grand Prix for both horse and rider. She was also chosen to represent team USA at her first Senior 5* Nations Cup in Xalapa, Mexico. She then went on to compete at the Masters in Spruce Meadows, which was one of her lifelong dreams. Gia continues to develop and compete top horses all over the world.
